Depends upn the severity of the bruise. Deep bone bruises can be a *****, especially on the hip which would cause pain anytime you move. If it's bad, he can be out for a while. If not, probably day to day.

Judging by the reaction of Cechmanek after the hit, I'd say it's probably pretty bad (although I'm just hoping most of that was just getting the wind knocked out of him).

i thought he broke some ribs at first...he looked like he was dying...but hopefully its nothing too serious...but honestly i have a lot more confidence in huet rite now...

by the way...i thought ceckmanek looked realy comfortbale tonite...i was looking forward to seeing the strong performance we were all waiting for...but since he's a king, he got injured at the worst time

hoep he gets better soon. not sure what we can do w/o him, having a minor league goalie as a backup and all. but in the meantime, i hope huet can get people to stop putting on the cechmanek colored glasses.

Hnilicka and Hauser are the two goalies in our rotation, currently. Hnicka has had a couple (literally two) decent performances over the last week. Mathieu Chouinard was sent to Reading, we think for reconditioning following a bout of the flu.

In the interview he states he doesn't know if he'll be able to play Saturday. If it's a bone bruise to the hip, he's likely to wake-up this morning (if he was able to get any sleep) and say holy****, mutha******, that hurts like a son-of-a-*****! Hip pointers can be extremely paiful with the pain compounded by motion and contact. We'll just have to wait and see.

To the other poster(s) that are suggesting a Hauser call-up, your getting sleepy, very sleepy, your eye lids are heavy, deeper, deeper! [In a soft voice] Hnilicka is who you want, forget about Hauser, it's Hnilicka you want. Sure hope that works, I really don't want to loose Hauser! Hey, Hnilicka, think Hnilicka...........

I believe Hauser's off limits to the Kings

Well, as "The Daleks" said earlier, unless the Kings' management gets out their checkbooks and signs Hauser, the Kings and their fans can forget about him. He's not under contract, so as I understand it, he's off limits.

So to your finer point: Think Hnlicka.

Robitaille scored the second goal for the Kings at 12:04 of the second period when Mark Cammalleri shot the puck high in the air. No one could find it for a few moments, but Robitaille skated in and put the puck in.
