I meant he avoiding it more to not over shadow Mark. I don't think he cares what people think, but he does want Mark's night to remain special.

I agree. I think everyone involved would want Lowe to be a part of this, but the fans would most likely taint Mark's evening if Lowe was announced.

Its really too bad. Lowe was standing next to Messier in how many of those flashbacks holding the cup? He should be a part of this.

Someone actually thought people chanting "Moose" was booing? Come on.

**** you guys, it's very simple. It's not because he's a coward and couldn't handle the reaction. It's because he didn't want anything whatsoever to put a damper on this night. I love the collective class that these boards show sometimes. I wasn't going to read here for a while since I knew it'd be a constant line of "Lowe's an idiot" threads. Maybe I was right. This isn't a shot just at your post, but all of them in general.

That's not what I saying. I think it was extremely classy of Kevin Lowe to avoid the ceremony to make it solely Mark's Night.

It's gotta be Stoll (when he gets back). For now, it's Staios, I think.

I wasn't referring to you. To the guy who made a comment about him hiding in a cellar.

As far as I know, the "A"'s go as follows.. Staios, Moreau, Horcoff, Stoll - in that order.

I know it was mentioned in another GDT, but Pouliot seems to a have a very good shot.

It's a good thing we have such a great coach. Otherwise we might put a guy with 11 NHL GP out with Matty Roy. Wait..

I have been tough on Mac-Tavish, but who else does he have to put in there?

Gilbert, Tjarqvist and Smid are all hurt.

Almost forgot one.

No no, I meant the pairings. I realize you're going to have an unexperienced pairing with Greene, Roy, and Syvret all in there, but you don't put the two guys who have played a combined 20 something games together. I'd of put Syvret with Staios.

I agree, but I think Mac-T might have them set up has the two pairs he expects to get alot more icetime.
