you see a 17 and a 19 going after each other, kovalchuk has the puck then naslund takes it away and so on. then naslund nusts through the zamboni doors and they go outside in the ally and then on the road and then into a kitchen of a resturant, then some other buliding then they bust threw the glass door glass goes flying naslund trips over these bags kovalchuk gets intoa cab sticks his skate out to *stop* the cab then it cuts to the arena and the refs looking at thier watch the players loking annopyed. then kovalchuk and naslund come over the bench and kovalchuk does a spinorama and it hits the post. goes high in the air they look at each other and then start climbing the glass to get the puck....it was so stupid.

I saw it today!

I hate Nike, I have ethical issues with them.

BUT, it's cool to see Vancouver getting alot of exposure in the USA.

Good ad though! Clever maketing strategy.

Edit: It's only a Canadian commercial?

Here is the link: http://www.nike.com/canada/nikehockey/main.html
Go through the intro and you will eventually go to a page where it says "Watch the add". Click on the link and the video will load.
You can also download it as an mpeg file if you want.

So it's saying that the NHL can't be "fenced in"...I guess that means it's breaking into the mainstream?? Deep.

That commercial's awesome!! I love it!

It says exactly what it should... how far would you go, and what equipment would take you there?

Excellent add.

Nike Hockey has a new campaign called 'Light it Up'. In NHL Cites, promo people will set up Synthetic ice, X-box, loud speekers, flat screen TV, ect. You will be able to try on Nike equiptment (skates, gloves, helmet) and take breakaways, which are subseqwuently filmed. You then get a pin number and you can check out your breakaway on Nike's website. They give away fee pucks and stickers.

This will be the biggest Nike hockey marketing promo ever.

I enjoyed it. It was a good, fun, light hearted commercial. Nothing wrong with that at all. It reminded me of the Nike soccer commercial from a few years back where the players dribbled through out the airport and ended when one guy shot the ball and it hit a make shift post.

Just saw it, thought it was pretty cool.

Notice that it's a Detroit squid they knock on to the ground in the kitchen.
