Damn! 2 of 3 players i want are in the top 15, Turris seems like an outstanding player, as is Petrecki. What are your thoughts on Cunti if you dont mind and have any one the subject?? Thank you in advance...

Thanks for the list BB. You are generally pretty close to bang on.

Better hope the Isle end up with the 15th pick and just make the playoffs.

Actually, with our depth I am still hoping to move all 3 1sts and some roster players for Pitkanen and their 1st. That way we get Turris and Pitkanen. We don't really need a bunch of good prospects. We already have a bunch. We need a couple top end kids to add. An elite forward and a top pairing D that can move the puck. And we'd get those.

I think we'd be ready for a cup run with that line-up in a few years and be strong enough to challenge the Pens.

Come on Lowe, make it happen.

Turris, Kane, Cherepanov we have no chance at. We might get lucky and draft Voracek with the first pick if he is still available. Moller is a guy I would take with the 2nd pick because I don't think he will last to 28-30th-our 3rd pick and I'm high on him.

Cunti has been slipping in the rankings. He was a player that had some buzz earlier in the year because of his skill level but I have heard that scouts are questioning his work ethic and attitude. Earlier this year I thought he might go mid to late 1st but he is probably a 2nd round or later pick.

if u were the phillys would you trade away a possible lottery pick and a franchise Dman for 3 10-30 picks? a soon to be UFA Smyth got us more then that.
maybe hemsky + 3 1st would get it done.. and thats a maybe.. <we still win that deal>

Turris WILL be a top 5 pick.

I would be thrilled if we can get a pick around 11 and get Couture. I think he will be gone in the top 10 but he is a guy I would love.

Here is a quote from turnbuckle who works for McKeens:

My trade has Smith, Horc and all 3 1sts for Pitkanen and their 1st. It is also assuming we have a pick somewhere between 5-10. I know how much it would cost to get him.

The 3 1sts are the starting point. We are looking at at least 2 roster players/top end kids along with them. I just think we have an embarrassment of riches right now and don't really need a bunch more depth. We are swimming in depth. We need top end talent.

So we can afford an overpayment and I expect Lowe to try and make one. Also, the Oil have never had a 1st overall pick. I'm sure Lowe would love to take the first.

Realistically, I want:

EDM 10. Logan Couture
NYI 16. Nick Petrecki
ANA 27. Mark Katic
