Haven't really had enough time to come to a final opinion on him. The team's been struggling as a whole lately, so I'm not sure we've seen the best he's got to offer and I'm not sure it's fair to form an opinion just yet. I like how physical he is, and he's chipped in a couple of timely goals for us. Strength in front of the net is always a handy thing to have. I'm still not sure he's become comfortable with the system here, but I think he will soon enough. I've read that one of his best assets is leadership in the locker room, which unfortunately I don't get to experience. He sounds like he'd be a good fit for us.

Also read that he chipped in a few teeth in practice the other day, courtesy of Richard Park's skate - sure enough, he was flashing a true hockey smile after Dowd's goal vs. Buffalo

He's contributed pretty well since joining the Wild, 3 goals and 2 assists in 12 games and a +1. Another waiver wire steal for the Wild I'd say.
