anyone know anything about how long tytuin could be out for, MCL sprain? week maybe?
not sure how bad his knee is, but as a college athlete i sprained my LCL, a much less important ligament in the knee and was sidelined for about a month. Not good for NYR no matter how you slice it
Every single goaltender gives up crappy shots now and then. Hockey is much more luck than some people think
True, but that goal was preventable. There is no reason for Henrik to drop to his knees before Staal has even made a move. Same thing with the Columbus game. It's not like you lose any effectiveness as a goalie by standing up a bit taller, or coming out further. This is really important stuff, and it can make the difference between winning and losing IMO.

Good Goalies become great goalies through experience. Don't worry, I think Lundqvist will fix his game if need be
i gotta say - I have been out of town for college for 6 years now (no im not stupid, im getting a masters) but I am stuck watching the Pens broadcast right now and can I just say, these guys are god awful - similar to watching the White Sox broadcasters against the Yanks with the stupid "he gone" thing. Funny thing is I was a fan of Bob Errey as a player, but as an announcer, NO
