After the first line, I just closed my eyes, put my hands over my ears and started going "LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA"...

Hold the phone...

*squint squint, rub eyes*

WHERE'S TOBY???

Maybe Greene's eating popcorn because they want Toby on D?

Your right...where is Toby? Maybe the organization felt like they have pissed off enough fans as it is.

You know, I think our GDT's are going to deliver on a seriously funny level now that we're collectively at the "We are so ******" stage to close out this season, with 18 GDT's to go.

I for one cannot wait.

It's not Teddy Peterson's fault that we're missing the playoffs this season any more than it was Dan Cleary's fault we missed the playoffs in 2002.

Why pick on a guy for decisions that were far beyond his control?

As much as I've hated Toby all year, he'd be better than Nedved.
Put Pouliot on the 2nd line already!

I'm glad we have Sykora on the 1st line though, you have to put your most skilled players togther to get the most out of them.

Yeah, baby! We're bringing 1992 back! Rollin back the clock, G!

(hmm. The Oilers sucked pretty bad back in 1992 as well, come to think of it.)

1992?! Are you being sarcastic?

We went to the conference finals and got wiped out by Chicago that year. The old Pipeline: Damphousse - Nicholls - Murphy
They were a fun line to watch and if I remember correctly both Vinny and Joe got over 35 goals that year.

I'm interested in seeing how Pouliot plays, given the anchor is back on his line. Hopefully they get something done tonight on the plus side of the score sheet.

Are you sure? I thought 1992 was the start of our long dark winter.

I guess I shouldn't have drank so much cough syrup in the early 1990s.

You've got the 83-71 combo back together and I'm sure Horc can keep up but now those two guys are gonna be asked to play the tough min. I wonder if they'll pass it to 10 because the only linemate they ever passed to was 94 in the few games they played together. I don't mind a 28-34 wing tandem...both grind and play the same style. But Nedved between them is just wrong. I like 22-78 together but I would've given them 34 just to show how responsible people play. That last line is a bloody mismash.

What's the real rule on the four call-up's thing? I'd imagine you can only make four more call-up's AFTER deadline day? We should've Matvichuked 93 and brought up Nilsson for a look. Why the shag not? The season's over anyway.
