Hopefully Jacques can do something actually productive with the chance he has been given tonight. He is playing with two good offensive players so you Jacques supporters can't make any excuses tonight. Yay to no Toby, Nay to Tico on the fourth line. Who knows, maybe this is the start of a 12 game win streak that pushes us into the playoffs.

If we let the Avs and Blues pass us, there is a chance we get the 7th pick overall. That will be the first top 10 pick since Boyd Devereaux I think.

If the Oil want to show some cajones...

they will come out tonight and play a spirited game not only to build some confidence but also to maybe make the PO race interesting down the stretch here. A win tonight and on Sat night vs the Flames would definitely make this fan a happy camper and put some life back into team.

Harding looked really good for the Wild last night, despite the ($@%$*# three-point game) Flames win. I'd predict a 2-1 game again, seeing how our only decent scorer is gone.
Let's see how Horc and Hemmer and the rest of the boys earn their contracts without the Man.

... If anyone was watching, did you see the opening image for Bell Oiler's Hockey? Am I seeing things, or was that the face of FCP... Sportsnet needs a new image guy... or a new image.

thoreson nearly shovels home a Nedved pass. Thoreson-Nedved-Pisani/Stortini is looking not too bad.

Part of me wants the Wild to win just so they can win the division at the expense of Van and Cowtown.

That and a better chance for higher draft pick.

Is it a sell-out? Lots of empty seats.

I will say this, it sucks the Oil are out of it, but that means, of course, that the rather attractive lady avatars come out.

You know Edmonton really isn't out of it at all. If you win today then it's a 8 point lead with 3 games left vs Minnesota and if Edmonton can go on a little run here then it's totally possible that Edmonton can pull within 4 or 5 points and you still have 2 huge games left vs Minnesota in April.

Just remember last season NJ was behind NYR and Philly by 11 points with 11 games to go...NJ went 11-0 and won the division beating both NYR and Philly for the title.

It's possible afterall Edmonton is down 10 points with 18 games to go.

Our second line is Thoresen-Nedved-Pisani.

We're out of it.

Possible, but highly unlikely. Not with this team we're getting anywhere. Get in 8th, then what? Out in 4.

If we're going to suck, suck hard, reload in July/August.
