The Completely OT Thread (No religion/politics)

Lets try this thread out. Anything completely not caps/hockey related post in here. Generally we're pretty liberal around here when it comes to off thread topic conversations so if that happens move the discussion here.

Only to keep the spirit of the thread light hearted...something religion and politics rarely end up being, heh.

Tinner and I are going to into an arguement as to why gestalt characters are n00bish and core classes keep it real....

This is the most rediculous thing I've ever heard...sure gestalt seem to be a bit overpowered at first but you must understand that in any give round a gestalt character still only has but one move action and one standard action...just like a non gestalt character.

The question is can we talk about whether Moradin sucks? How about Odin? There maybe people here who adhere to the Nordic pantheon and that would be considered religion would it not???

GMGM is more like a mindless kobold barbarian....sneaky and savage yet does plenty of ill advised things.

Man...in Baldurs gate I always had trouble with those kobold ambushes!

That's weak tinner. Just hit pause and methodically lay waste to those buggers on every turn.

That sounds past tense. I created my own class - took a Spellsword and substitued Mysticism for Illusion and named it WarMystic...

Oh, to that point - I AM GAY

I mean that in the 80s sense...

Nah, I still play Rebellion every once in awhile - and that's an old, old game.

"Nerd of all nerds" is the scene in Clerks 2 - Star Wars vs Lord of the Rings

Man, this is therapy - to know that there are other 30-somethings that maintain the same dorky habits (or guilty pleasures) as me.

Speaking of rebellion, I have it on my laptop. It is awful, but it is better than pretty much every star wars turn based computer game out there. Though, to be honest the Empire at War game wasn't atrocious. Just poor. Mods for it have been decent.
