Yeah, I know it is and I was gonna say that. But I never have Center Ice so this is one of the few times I'm watching another team's broadcast and it's just so in your face homerish. I know the Canes are too but you really don't notice it when it's your team.

EDIT: But come on, that "He only tripped him a little bit" line was a bit over the top =/

2-1 Sens over Atlanta in the 2nd.

huuuuuuuuge goal by Walker.

great sequence, great offensive pressure. 3-2 Canes

3-0 Buf on Mtl

EDIT: now pleeeeease don't give up the killer goal at the end of the 3rd, as we usually do at home lately...

big win. Pens are so talented, it is scary.

We won even if Stillman/Whitney/Brindy/Kaberle played hurt.

Buffalo now leads 4-3 on Mtl. They just missed two amazing scoring chances

EDIT: now 5-3 Buffalo

He's not a bad player, but he just was flat out behind Brind'Amour and Staal in terms of Center depth.

Yeah, as has been said, not good enough to center either of our first 2 lines, and he sucks at 3rd

Buffalo 5-4 after 2 periods. Aebischer made 3-4 unbelievable saves. Go figure...

Great win and we needed it badly.

Those Pittsburgh announcers are just ...ugh. Every time they talked about Laraque they just giggled like school girls. I thought they were going to need some alone time.

Scott Walker comes up huge in a big time game and we needed it badly. Officiating was choppy at best as well. Ward played very strong. Overall, solid win.

Now we watch the scoreboard to make sure Montreal takes a regulation loss and we'll be back in the PO's.

Atlanta up 4-2...they'll likely win and the Canes stay 3 back.

and Toronto don't want to die. They lose Kaberle to a cheap shot by Janssen and score 3 goals in the 3rd to take a 3-2 lead.

This playoff race will be tight until the last week.

There are mistic powers at work against Carolina this year.

Ottawa blows a lead against Atlanta.

New Jersey blows a lead against Toronto.

Buffalo blows a 3 goal lead to Montreal to have them 1 behind in a high scoring game.

Even when we win we can't make ground. It's frustrating to not have your destiny in your own hands, but that's what happens when you leave points on the board all season long.

Good win, but I can't really get that excited about it. I've seen far too many games this season where the team has looked fantastic, got my hopes up that it would lead to a solid run, and then the team stinks it up the next couple of games.

Glad to see Vasicek finally register a point, although it's tough to ignore Belanger's two goals for Atlanta.

And an assist on Walker's GWG vs. the Kings.

Anyhow, is this comparison really valid? Belanger is playing with Hossa and Kozlov, while Vasicek had been saddled with LaRose and Adams much of his time here.

Of course, when I tried to argue that Belanger was a better player than he was showing because he was also saddled with the aformentioned non-offensive players, I was met with a stern warning from the Matt Cullen Fan Club.

My bad, the shutout loss against them the next night kind of erased any memory of the game before.

Can't really argue that Belanger is more talented than what he showed here. He can pass and score, he just needs a little talent around him. Wish our coaches would've figured that out. If some people felt Belanger didn't fit in our offense, I don't see how our front office thought Vasicek would be any better.
