Good lord, the only thing that seemed like we could count on was Forsberg being a game-breaker for us with Arnott/Legwand out....Now?

Well, I just can't imagine Fiddler as the no. 1 center. He may get 25 minutes of ice time....Vernon Fiddler......

If Arnott does not play, I'm going to give ourselves a 10% chance to win. However, if we do manage to pull out a win without Sullivan/Hartnell/Legwand/Forsberg....man what a morale booster for everyone.

I have a feeling the Ducks won't know what hit 'em after tha Fiddla lights them up for a goal and four assists tonight...

Fiddler is the boogeyman.

Sorry guys, you'll miss my huge insightful posting tonight, I got called up for the game tonight!

Checkout our lineup change:

Kariya - Forsberg - Erat
Sullivan - Arnott - Dumont
Hartnell - Legwand - Radulov
Fiddler - Nichol - Tootoo

Kariya - Fiddler - Erat
Radulov - Nichol - Dumont
Smithson - Peverley - Tootoo
Hordichuk - Abid - Nichol

*above lines are just speculation but really, look at that lineup

If we escape by anything less than 10-0 its a moral victory tonight.

Time for our slogan - No excuses!

I think all the injuries are minor and if the Detroit game was tonight, you'd see all but Hartnell and possibly Sullivan out there. I think they view it this way. The players are dinged up, so who would you rather have them healthy for: Detroit or Anaheim? A loss to Ana and who honestly cares? A loss to Detroit is killer. I think they are taking a modest gamble and throwing their eggs in the Detroit basket.

Well, we really need to get some powerplay goals tonight. This should be the lone area where we are not at a severe disadvantage. Anyway we can transfer Weber's performance from last night to tonight's performance?

Wow, really thought Arnott would go, tonight.

Erat Nichol Abid is our first line

We should just continually ice the puck, and hope we can go 0-0 into OT and steal a point.

Sound plan NMK, Sound plan. I can't believe Arnott, Forsberg, Legwand, Hartnell, AND Sullivan are all out at the same time....thats freaking amazing (in a bad way).

Good PK on a kind of weak call on Zanon. Its sad, this is one of those games where we're happy with just getting it out of our zone (not just on the PK).

No kidding. I'm guessing under 18 shots for the game......a PP is our best chance to score. I say we crash the net and play as defensively sound as we can.

EDIT: HAHAHAHA - WE JUST SCORED! Kimmo off the draw!

I think when you're offensively handicapped like we are tonight, whenever one of the weaker lines is out, they should be trying to get the puck back to the point and bombed from there.

And PEVERLEY TO TIMONEN FOR THE SCORE!

can we just...not come out after the first period, and call it a draw? we're up 1, we'll cede the extra point, and take one

we're being way too cute in our own end, and giving the ducks way too much time. gotta stop the watch and wait stuff.

Wow, this would be a fun one to see how much time Anaheim has spent in our zone...
