Surprised to see MacDonald with the start but I'm all for it. Jersey normally doesn't score many goals. They still win with defense and strong goaltending so this might actually be a decent spot to give Thomas some rest. I'm hoping Joey puts on a show.

The big question mark for me is if the offense can put up some goals against the Devils. I'm looking for a strong game from Bergeron. Savard hasn't been quite as effective as normal the last couple of games so hopefully he can put up some points tonight.

Let's hope we see the same intensity as last night!

shocked...they gotta rest the guy. i can see a 15/17 type breakdown, if the b's manage to stay in the race.

The only other roster move was on defense, where Jason York bumped
newcomer Bobby Allen to the sideline.

"If we're going to achieve our goal, it's going to take everybody," said Lewis. "On top of that, Jason has a tremendous passion to get back into the playoffs, and I don't want to stunt that passion."

Yay for Jason York

York, are you ****ing kidding me? With the addition of Wideman I thought that was the last of Jason York. Allen has already proven he's without a doubt the better of the two, so why does Jason York get another look?

Bobby Orr on Charlie Moore's fishing show. Just the greatest ever. They show some of his highlights and they are breathtaking.

NESN is not working right now for me. I can hear but the screen is frozen with a picture of BC vs. GT.

I don't like either of them personally... is there still a reason why Lashoff and Stuart haven't taken that spot yet nugs??

Yeah, I think Allen could use a little motivating, and if it takes
a scratch for York against the Devs, I'm ok with that. Allen
hasn't been terrible by any stretch, just a little less focused and
not as solid - a night to think it over may be just what he needs.

I could go without hearing DL talk about York's "passion".

I knew they were close, and we all kinda speculated, but DAMN.

those guys won't be in boston this season again if the team remains in the hunt. of course, if there are injuries, things would change. and once the bruins are eliminated, you might see them for a few games. providence is going to make a good run in the playoffs this year, and hopefully our young guys like krejci, kalus, karsums, lashoff, stuart, hannu, etc are the keys to an extended season.

Yea thats what I expected. I'm hoping they go far with the PB's, that'll be good for all of them. I suppose I can live with York and Allen for the rest of the year.

Eric Frede is an idiot.

"The Bruins, facing that stingy defensive team, the Montreal Canadiens and Martin Brodeur."

ya, i guess playing macdonald, against one of the lowest scoring teams in the nhl isnt a bad idea. now its all up to the offense. LETS GO BRUINS!
