Carolina Goaltending Question

I'm wondering what the story is on starting goaltenders for Carolina.
I've noticed lately that Grahame has been getting more and more starts just following Ward starting to play hot again..
He's not injured..
They can't be resting him for the playoffs since they can't afford to lose their games if they're considering him their #1 goalie.

Is he drained?
Or does the team just not have confidence in playing him like a true #1 goalie.

Thanks in advance.

Grahame played super well against Atlanta in the Canes' game against them two Saturdays ago, so that's why he got the start against the Thrash today. It also earned him a start against Ottawa, in which he played well, but wasn't enough to secure the game, as you saw. Thus, Ward started the second one against Ottawa and then against the Penguins, where he played both games very well. I can't remember further back than that. We're not shuffling goalies or anything like that. Maybe I don't understand your question

I say play Ward. Hows he going to get in a groove if you dont keep playing him? He played great against Pitt and Atlanta is a division rival who the Canes and Ward are going to be going toe to toe for the next number of years. What are you going to do always play the backup when you play them? There is a reason why Grahame didn't cut it in Tampa Bay and I dont understand why the coach keeps playing him. I His record is 7 and 11 this year. Ward won us the cup. Geez !!!

Play Ward. Hows the guy going to get in a groove if we dont play him. He played great against Pitt. I mean Atlanta is a division rival who the Canes and Ward are going to be playing for the next number of years. What are we going to do hold him out of all the games because of a couple of bad games. There ios a reason why Grahame didn't cut it in Tampa. The guy has a record of 7 and 11 this year and the coach keeps playing him. Ward won is the cup. GEEEEZ !!!! It really bugs me i tell ya

Ward has struggled with Atlanta this year and Grahame played great against them 2 weeks ago. So why not start Grahame? Grahame actually played really well yesterday and the score could have been alot worse. Grahame might be 7-11, but how many times has he been left out to dry? And how many times did our offense not produce? Grahame is not going to win when his offense only tallies 1 goal. And when he comes in as relieve for Ward, Grahame gets the L. Which this has happened atleast twice. IMHO Grahame has not been bad, the team in front of him has been bad and you can make the same case for Ward. I think Ward has had more mental breakdowns than Grahame, but Ward is only 22 so its understandable.

Brind'amour is the starting goalie. He wins 100% of his face-offs, goes back to the net and then stops 100% of the shots he faces.
