What was it about them you didn't like?
Thanks.

They are frigging sweet. I find they work best when you have a really hard ice surface. When you occasionally skate on softer ice there is a noticeable difference, but it isn't bad. I have had them for about 3 years now and they amazing. They are really light, and they make it really easy to change direction on a dime. To be honest, if you are not a good skater, you are probably not going to notice a difference other than weight. If you are a strong skater I would go for it.

Yeah, Marcel Goc and Christian Ehrhoff use them (of course) and you can always hear them when they're on the ice.

They have their advantages, but right now the biggest disadvantage is trying to track down replacements for them.

theyre great, cheap, you cant blow an edge on them, you wont get a **** sharpening, theyre light, they do make you faster or turn better. theyre the best.

scouts hate them cuz they make your feet look slow tho.

Hecht is the only Sabre I know that wears them. I haven't tried them, nor do I plan on it. Just rather get a trusted sharpening from someone that always does my blades..
