Dallas coaching rumors.

Courtesey of Al Morganti (not the best, but far from the worst source).

Tippett is in huge trouble (no shocker there). If he doesn't get at least 2 points, and maybe more, from from this home & home with Chicago he'll be gine on Monday.

The name rumored to replace Tippett ..... Mike Keenan.

I've also heard rumors of Keenan heading to Washington. I can only imagine how he and Jagr would clash...yikes!

Actually most "stars" like to play for Keenan. He gives them a ton of ice time.

No slam against Glen Hanlon, but maybe Keenan is what the Caps need to straighten them out.

Do you think he'd be better in Washington or Dallas? If you had to choose between the two...

Caps are looking to dump salary. No way they'd take on a salary the size of Keenan's, or any 'name' coach. The Caps' coaching staff is also only signed through this season. Hanlon for the rest of the season.

Gordon Bennet please fire Tipps! I would love to see him back with the Kings and think it will be even funnier to watch the Stars fail even worse after Tipps is gone. If they think they are sucking now with him as thier coach wait until they fire him, that is when it will get ugly.

Welcome home Tipps, bring us back the top PP in the league mate!

I'd say Dallas. For one thing, Keenan works well with stars in terms of sizing down their egos. Plus, his development of young stars isn't too shabby(unless you're a goaltender). However, that said, his penchant of a goaltender merry-go-round could shatter any confidence left in Marty Turco.
Washington won't take on such a big salary(they have to, after all, still pay Cassidy) and I doubt their crop of youngsters could take a Keenan outing.
