I disagree Koivu won us some games with solid performences(14pts). Even if Pleky worked hard he must find a way to get the puck in the net(5pts).

Give it to anybody now I don't think players care about it right now, this cup is worth nothing if we dont get around 20 points in our 14 lasts game, so I permit 5 lost, any kind, MAXIMUM. 9-4-1 would be great. but 10-4-0 would maybe be the point that would push us in these playoffs.

Remember that it's for MVP of the Habs, not of the NHL. It's all relative.

This month's Molson Cup makes me think of our provincials elections in Quebec.
By default of having to choose the best one (party/player), we have to choose the less worst.

Saku is one of the 3-4 players that scored more goals this past month , than Huet and Abby

Props to Saku....

Otherwise, Saku didn't played great all month, it shows how this team sucked bad last month .

Any bets on who's winning the next one?

I'm picking Streit.

How is the winner chosen? Isn't it the number of times players are in the three stars of the game or something like that?

exactly. so it's not about the best overall player but the one who was a "star" in the most games. it's pretty much a charity thing in the end. they get money, they donate it to a charity of their choice.

Truthfully, I don't really take the whole 3 Stars thing very seriously. Its always voted on by the home team's media so I feel there is a lot of bias to it.

For example, the game the other night between the NYR and the NYI at MSG. The rags peppered 50 plus shots at Dipietro as he held them in the game and got them to the shoot out. The rags ended up winning the game in the shoot out but sadly Dipietro ended up with the 3rd star.

At the rate we're going, I pick Youppi.

In all seriousness, I don't think Streit would have been a bad choice this month. We're not scoring very often, so why not give it to a D? We play the Leafs again next week, if Komi lets Tucker have it the way he did earlier this year, I'd give it to Komi.

I'm actually hoping that Tucker does something to piss off Kovy and he levels him again....but I would still be thrilled if Komi would do it too.

Actually here's the rule....whomever knocks the crap out of Tucker....gets handed the Molson Cup right there on the spot.
