Wouldn't mind seeing Markov with Komo. Sort of a preview of the future.

Wow...nice grind line. That should put fear into the hearts of the Panthers.

Yep. They'll need to be sharp to stay on par with that fire ball of a 4th line.

"Ça déjà été un premier trio dans les séries éliminatoires", a cependant rappelé le fier Audette.

Good stuff on that goal. Win the draw, get the shot on goal and pick up the rebound. So simple, yet so beautiful

Souray must have the most powerfull shot in the NHL, its simply amazing, almost every time he shoots he creates a rebound simply because the goalies cant hang on to it.

It was a good 1st period for the Habs.. but anyway I can't believe that Florida is a state where it never snows, and they have 2 hockey teams! ... Where are our Nordiques?

Interesting first period for our new fourth liner, Perreault. He was on the ice for 4:19 and was 7-0 in the faceoff circle. Koivu was 5-2 and the team overall was 16-6. Solid first period, although the Panthers seemed to be turning it up near the end of the period.

Souray is playing awesome hockey for us........this guy is so dominant this season...a FORCE offensively and a ROCK defensively. Is physical, has a cannon of a shot....Definately should be a candidate for the allstar game

2 points for Markov. Let's hope that this helps his overall confidence and helps get that consistency and good play that we came to expect from Andrei based on last year.

Good start for the boys.

He probably meant that the deal has worked out great for us....he was just adding some sense of humor in that he could not spell Malakhov's name right...the same guy who decided to ski instead of play hockey for us a few years ago . Souray has been awesome for us....a real FORCE offensively(scoring touch, shot power) and a ROCK defensively(physically)
