I didn't think it looked *that* bad. It wasn't the check, for sure. It was his awkward fall on his own left knee. Armstrong strikes me as a warrior-type. I'm going to optomistically predict that he'll be back in the 2nd period with an iced up leg.
I hope Dallman's 20 stitch return for the next period motivates him.
I havent seen too many knee injuries be short term. I hope though, he just signed an extention! figures
This is the best way that I can describe the 1st period: You know how the Kings look when they're down 4-1 and score a goal? For a few shifts, they play with the afterburners on and you wonder where that effort was earlier. Well, they played like that every shift for the entire 20 minutes, and it was 0-0 most of the time. I think that something might be wrong.
BTW, Modry always looked particularly bad against the Red Wings, and he's not disappointing so far
Edit: They just showed "one of the biggest Kings fans ever" picking his nose. Good one, FSN. Really classy, there... haha.
Genius Crawford put Noah "13 NHL games" Clarke out there in OT versus the mighty Red Wings. Is it any surprise that he turned it over for a goal? Honestly, what is this coach thinking when he makes decisions like this?
