Playoff Support

With the "Mighty" Oil clearly out of the playoffs, I was wondering how many of you will still be watching the playoffs and who you will be cheering for.
In addition to the ABC's of hockey (Anybody but Calgary), I know I'll be cheering on the Penguins. In addition to having an exciting team, their fans have lived through some ugly hockey, face the threat of their team re-locating, and share a farm team with our club. I see them as our hockey twin city (with more exciting young players).

Go Pens!

ill be cheering for anaheim to make it to the final, but other than that i hope every team loses every game ..... scores along the lines of -6 to "boring" would be satisfying

Good call on the ducks making the final. Hopefully they do it this year and go into full suck mode next year and we get a decent 1st rounder next year.

Ducks. Why? I'll be in California during the Finals and my hotel is only 3 miles from the Honda Center. I'm betting that I could score tickets to a game. Hell, I'd probably pay a scalper.

Nope. That's secondary to me. I just want to watch some playoff hockey and I sure as hell won't be able to do that in Edmonton.

I'm for Isles and Minny. Isles cause of Smyth and their and underdog team, and Minny, 'cause Gaborik absolutly rocks, and their an underdog team.

I won't be watching since both of my teams are out of it. It's too painful watching others succeed, but I'll be cheering for another 1st from Anaheim.

pens and isles in the eastern conference

and who ever beats detroit (as proven in the last three cups) will go on to win the west...

and to those who won't watch the playoffs.... are you really hockey fans? who cares if the oilers didn't make it, just watch it for the sake of having hockey

Go Ducks. The only reason is for our 1st draft pick, otherwise any Canadian team except Calgary.

Why shouldn't we cheer for Vancouver? We owe it to Dolemite.

That said I'll keep an eye on the Pens and the Isles.

I'm not going to cheer for Vancouver but I won't actively cheer against them like I would in a typical year. It's hard not to have a little grudging respect for the Canucks this year, they're a team full of guys who play hard every night. It's been said a million times but the more I see them play, the more I think of the Flames the year before the lockout.

With the exception of Dolemite the nucks fans that have trolled this board are what they are.... For that reason alone I will cheer for any other team.

Plus it just wouldn't be right if the nucks ever won anything

Well if the NHL is interested in keeping congruent with recent themes, Vancouver can be expected to lose in 7 to the Thrashers this June.

I'll be cheering for the Pens, but I also want the Ducks to make it to the finals.

Go Pens Go!

Aslong as the Flames or Canucks don't win the cup I'll be happy.

For the record I'm not saying I'll be giving the 'Nucks my full support, but like Cerebral said I can't really actively cheer against them out of respect for the mighty Dolemite.

West> Vancouver~ they might start a bra-trick thing if/when Cowan scores two goals in a game.

East> Islanders
