Marc Staal can NOT be called up till his season is over.

You can bet Liffiton will be the one to get the call up.

You cannot call a player up from Juniors until their season is over.

yep, its a rule in the juniors. basically Staal was too young to play in hartford (though he was certainly good enough to be a top pairing dman there) so because hes in juniors he cant be called up and play for the rangers/wolfpack till after his season is over. i havent been following his team, but i believe they are in the playoffs (right?)

That's a shame. I actually was a fan of Karel Rachunek. What's most pressing is that we will have to go through the rest of the game with 5 dmen--That is especially troubling for a team that blows leads in the third period.

That definitely sucks considering he has been one of our best defenseman lately. He and Mara are a solid pair.

I wont miss Rach in any 1 on 1 but at this point he's a loss... Sucks to lose him so early in the game too.

Rachunek finally finds a partner he can play with and he gets hurt.
Hossa finally gets confidence is RED HOT and he gets hurt
Shanahan the leader of the team, has a freak collison and gers hurt.
Tyutin gets hurt. Straka playing with one arm.

This sucks, yet the team continues to compete.

Losing Rachunek so early hurt this team the most. ******* it.

Im actually excited to Liff to get a shot. See just how his rugged game translates into the Rangers Defense.

These Injuries are really going to put any Damper on us "trying" to make the Playoffs. Straka also took a direct hit to his bum shoulder. Could be another Problem. What next?

We could put together an All-Star team with just our Injured Reserve players.

Liffton could be a good replacement, Renny really likes him and he brings a physical presence to the Rangers.

Maybe all these injuries will make others stand up and take matters into their own hands. Then when everyone returns we'll have allot more depth in players we can depend on.

BTW...The kids this year have ALL been playing better than the vets. These injuries could be a blessing in disguise for next year.

If these injuries didn't happen...Girardi may never have gotten a chance (Kaspar, Ozo injuries), he has been incredible, and now he'll get a starting job next year when he otherwise probably wouldn't.

Dubinsky (Marcel Hossa) The way Dubinsky is playing right now, the Rangers would be absolute morons (I know, I know) if they didn't have him in the lineup next year. he otherwise would have spent maybe another year in the minors next year.

Pock...We now know for sure he is NOT an NHL D-Man. Atleast we finally gave him a shot to show that.

Now maybe Liffiton/Baranka will get a chance to audition for next season.

All three of the knee injuries could undoubtly hinder these player's careers. Any kind of knee injury is always a potential problem.

I hurt my knee when I was 10 playing soccer, MCL Sparin just like these guys. It's bothered me ever since. I always have to wear a knee brace now whenever I play any sport or if I'm going to be standing for a while. And any kind of sudden twist or move on it has me seeing stars.
