Here's an update on Anze

Taken from the tsn.ca Ice Chips player udates, the information originating apparently originating from the LA Times...

"The Kings probably will be without rookie center Anze Kopitar for another two weeks as he tries to strengthen an injured lower back. Kopitar has seen two back specialists since suffering the injury at the end of practice on Feb. 27. He has sat out five games thus far. The Kings also will be without Derek Armstrong, who Crawford said suffered a minor strain in his left knee Friday against the Detroit Red Wings. He was expected to be out at least a week. - LA Times"

Thanks for the update. I'm a little worried about Kopi's injury.

Don't be ridiculous. We were one of the worst teams in the NHL with Kopitar and we are still just as bad without him.

Nothing can become a chronic injury as easily as a back injury. Lets all pray...

They are being very coutious with this injury. Why the hell wouldn't they, he's the central building block of this team.

Let's just hope it wont escalate to out indefinetly, but id rather see him be fine, the suffer a worse injury do to practicing while still mildly injured.

Is it just me or is his injury floating around the upper half of his body? Next stop - bad hair day.

no point rushing him back now. He is the franchise player. I wouldn't care if he didnt play for the rest of this season
