Any news on Hemsky's injury? Hopefully he comes back soon, the games are just dull without him on the roster.

I bet he wont even come back, why risk re-injury to his shoulder again?

That definitely seems to be the most logical decision, however, it doesn't change the fact that it is still disappointing.

I've liked Lupul's effort so far this game...it was him causing the turnover that should've resulted in a Sykora goal if not for a huge glove save by Nabokov, and it was his strong rush up the ice that created a 2 on 1 which created a scoring chance and a SJ penalty. Good for him.

I dunno about you guys, but i for one hope to see next year an energy line, Stortini-Thoreson-Winnie have been a fairly good energy line, aaand, if we have two solid scoring lines and a checking line (RPM) it think we'd be better off. Unfortunetly, we have too much NHL ready Players to have it like that, i have been very impressed with the energy line though. They do what is asked of them, and they constantly annoy you, and sometimes even nearly score..Good work Energy line!

Agreed. lupul looked OK on the PP too. Strange looking PP though and Raffi in front of the net ain't quite the same.

Stupid penalty, Stortini. Cheap little hit to the player's back, with the puck nowhere near.

1-0 SJ, and once again Syvret gets dominated in front of the net.

Dive for top 5 just keeps chugging along!

Is it just me or has Greene looked a lot better over the past few games? I'm really liking the way he's playing out there, he's playing very physical along the boards and his reads seem to be getting a bit better.

It's pretty obvious Syvret doesn't have a long-term future with this organization, he has decent puck-moving skills but he's far too weak in the defensive zone and he'll likely be shipped down when Gilbert gets back (is he close yet?).

This could also just be me but I like how Lupul has played so far. I'm hoping MacTavish will put Torres-Pouliot-Lupul together and run with them for the rest of the year, they could be a decent 2nd or 3rd line for us next season if Lupul gets his crap together.

Gene's just paying the bills, man. He's got like maybe a minute to work with, those between period interviews have always been fluff pieces.
