Feels like an AHL team playing an NHL one. Too bad they don't show the WB team instead for Oiler fans.

The Oilers on the PK, and MacT still pulls the goalie with the Oilers down by 2 goals? Whatever.

ok good, 2-0... we're gonna lose

we just need columbus or chicago to start winning some more games and we'll be able to drop another 1 or 2 spots

does anybody happen to know what the oilers record is for losing streak? cause this is our 7th loss in a row, which is the longest i can presonally remember

I don't know what that whole thing was about being on the PK, down by 2 and pulling the goalie. If they couldn't get any offense 5on5 all game, why did MacT think they would light it up 5on5 without a goalie with 45 seconds left?

To hell with it. Who cares?

Where were you in Oct '05?

Actually this one's worse, at least back then they managed an OT loss during that streak.

.
Heh, I was thinking about that. What about that guy for the MSG network that always goes "It's a POWER Play Goal!" .... but with no goalie.

Since the start of that 'make or break' road trip, the Oilers are 2-8-2. Man this team sucks on so many levels.

How the hell does MacTavish want the goalies to steal games when the offense can't score? Good Lord, nothing would make me happier than seeing the whole coaching staff getting the boot.

Phew, we pulled it out in convincing style. Took a bounce and an EN to seal it though.

Boys played hard. That was good to see. Sharks should have had this one midway through the 2nd on paper. Our equal oppotunity ECHL 5 man D core against the dreaded Thornton/Cheechoo/Marleau 3 punch? Boys did as well as can reasonably be expected, close until the end.

I'd like to see a goal or two, but that isn't likely unless they let us call up S/N or someone comes back.

It officially rock bottom.

Congradulation to a Shark team that rose to the occasion and actually played to the level of the Oilers tonight. That was the worst hockey game I've seen in a while.

I'll predict right now that San Jose "jelly soft" Sharks are 1st round fodder.

I wonder what will come first, the Oilers winning a game before the season ends or scoring more than 2 goals?

lol

most of us Oilers fans are spending a lot more time watching our prospects not in the NHL because of injuries. There's also not that much to talk about, I mean, it's all been said in every game since the trade deadline..."a great effort, but it's an AHL team vs. an NHL team". Can't say much more about that.

Did you watch the game? The line of Ryane Clowe-Marcel Goc-Steve Bernier was crushing everything in sight.

LoL @ Dan Tencer on 630.

"Hmmm.... Well, I think it's safe to say, that going into this game today, we knew that a win was pretty much out of a reach."

Haha, right on bud, right on.
