Best rival in junior hockey?

What you think? I follow the qmjhl and without a doubt quebec and chicoutimi are the biggest rival! Againt yesterday they had a mini brawl!

Definitely some good brawls involved in that rivalry. Always had to make sure to go see that game a few times a year.

Oshawa Generals vs Peterborough Petes oldest rivalry in the CHL. Games can get real messy

In the WHL easily Everett and Vancouver. Junior hockey rivalries are better than the ones in the NHL.

"Easily?"

You've clearly never been involved in a Portland-Seattle game, have you?

Now this I'll agree with... I really miss the old days as a Winter Hawks' season ticket holder in Section 12 at the old Coliseum.

Historicall in the O London-Windsor was always big but the last few years London-Kitchener has been one of the hardest rivalries I've seen in some time

It isn't old, but the Cape Breton-Halifax games are pretty interesting.

It certainly hasnt been the same in past years though. They need these teams to meet in the post season to maybe renew that rivalry.

There are many good rivalries in the WHL. The best overall in terms of WHL history and mystique would be Swift Current and Medicine Hat. Regina and Moose Jaw gets the fans going too.

I live the Chicoutimi/Quebec rivalry every day and it doesn't get any better than this one. Every game between these two, something happens. Sunday Tulupov got knocked out by a cheapshot from Pierre Bergeron. Tulupov earlier in the season hit pretty severely and «border-linely» Ruslan Bashkirov who lost a tooth without a suspension. So as a Chicoutimi fan, I love it. The action on the ice, great goals, emotions, intensity, fights, crowd is nuts (espescially here in Chicoutimi) and coaches are agressive.

Sags won 8 of the 9 contests between the two team. People from Chicoutimi hate people from Quebec and Quebec hates Chicoutimi. That's the way it is. You saw the vids, there are plenty of other things that are happening that makes it unbelievable, like people insulting players, fights between fans and Roy being the most hated guy in Chicoutimi. I don't agree with fights and insulting players, but I can't stop that myself so i guess it's part of the rivalry.

Just to give you an example that the rivalry is lived every day here, this morning, Sags commentator Serge Cloutier recieved a threats letter, telling him that friday at the Colisée (Sags play there friday), the fan will be there to beat Cloutier after the game. Things like that happens after or before every game. And the Aubin finger. Wow! This stuff happens just every game, it's crazy.

I'll be in Quebec friday with my Sags cap and Sags jersey and I'll se what happens, usually I go there and Sags fans take control of the Colisee, but with what happened recently it'll be a bit more intense and agressive.

It doesn't get any better than that.

Wow i really doubt this is a rivalrie, sure their the top two teams this year but nowere near a rivalry. Kamloops and Kelowna would turn into a pretty good one if the two teams wouldnt switch from one team dominating the other but they were pretty good rivals when scott parker and mike brown were around and they played in the old kelowna memorial arena
