Upon return from the game

I've decided I'm not going to watch this team until spring break is over. What a pitiful effort. Those ofyou who watched know what im talking about. This might be the worst game we've played this year. Specifically Zidlicky and Vokoun couldnt close his legs tonight. Terrible game.

So many missed opportunities. We just couldn't seal the deal tonight... if Sully & Foppa continue to miss time, and now with Erat's injury, we are in trouble. We are very painful to watch.

Hey guys! You're in first place overall in the entire friggin' NHL. All teams have their ups and downs, and as everyone has mentioned, both teams are pretty banged up right now. The Preds have a bright future, a great coach in Trots, and some great young players. Don't overreact here.

I think this game deserves to stick around a little more than your typical loss.

We were clean blown off the ice for most of the game. The power play couldnt enter the Detroit zone. The defense was bad, goaltending was nothing special.

And this was one of those make a statement, circle your calendar type games. To play like we did is inexcusable. Great teams arent measured by how many times you can beat the Blue Jackets of the league.

We could pick those 2 points up tonite. We need to.

No shame in losing to Detroit. But to lose like we did yesterday was extremely discouraging.

Home Games

When was the last time the the Preds won a big/make a statement type game at home?

I'm sure they have won more of those type of games on the road this year than at home.

Watch Mason get a shutout now and really make things interesting.

Why does Trotz insist on playing Kimmo with Z on a pairing? Really no strength in that line...

well the good news is:

Detroit is 3-10-0 in the second of back to back games. Nashville is 13-2-2.
