Frolov

Do you guys and girls think he will reach 40 goals this year?

If he does, when was the last time Kings had a 40-goal scorer? I am thinking back to Luc or I am missing someone after him?

Lately he's not as hot as he was in the last couple months, but he definitely has a shot.

I dont know. But he has improved like crazy since Ive been away. So has Cammy. I really love that Frolov is starting to play smarter. Hes not doing that dipsy doodle loose the puck as often and hes standing in scoring position. Im really excited about Lundmark too. The guy is really good. I hope he is with us next year.

The last King to score 40+ was Luc Robitaille way back in 93-94.

That is what I thought. Just to think we have not had a 40-goal scorer in 14 years.....puts it in perspective

i think the closest anyone got was Luc getting 39 in 98-99, then Ziggy with 38 in 00-01

If he does reach 40 that will also be the 100th of his career.

He needs 6 goals in the next 12 games if he's gonna do it this season.

He could make it, but I think that he'll come up just shy. His desire appears to be in another mini-slump, and Kopitar's absence will probably cost him a PP goal. 38/39 goals would still be a terrific season, though.

Frolov

If Frolov keeps on making stupid penalties, he should be trade bait. Also, I feel that he is a player that isn't feared everytime he steps on the ice, like Vincent Lecavalier. Finally, he has too many pick up the garbage goals, nothing pretty.

Lecavalier isn't the best example.

i think frolov only has like 28 penalty minutes this year. Yes he took that one bad penalty in overtime, but that's not a bad habit of his.

I was thinking now that he is on the top power play unit consistently, he might get the goals going again. i hope he cracks 40 because i think has had an outstanding year.

Yeah, we all know how those garbage goals hindered Phil Esposito.

I said 41 for Alex a while ago and I'm sticking with it.

I love Frolov, he is an outstanding player. Easily one of the most under rated players in the league. Hes got size, decent speed, good hockey sense and finds the open spaces to let go of his cannon. With him, Kopitar and O'Sullivan you guys have a pretty bright future for forwards. Would like to see Crawford play Frolov beside Kopitar more often though, because IMO they are the best two players on the team right now.
