Ouch. Begin's gonna be gone, and it doesn't look good for DP either.

Is Leighton with the team now? No more Halak?

Begin can't catch a break.

I hope both he and DiPietro are ok.

Halak is in the pressbox, Leighton on the bench.

Can't blame Begin, dang it, he was chasing a loose puck near the blue line!

That was foolhardy of DiPietro....

Well this is a big chance for us, let's pepper Dunham early and see if he can hold up... our chances only improve, that's the cruelty off playoff hunt hockey.

Go Habs Go

I think there should be a new rule. Goalies should get a penalty if they dive for the puck on a play where injuries can happen. If a D dove in an other player's knees like that he would probably get a penatly.

This is not going to plan so far. A loss here and the 3 rivals picking up 3 wins would really seal our fate. What sucks is that by Saturday I know this team would be so demoralized that the Leafs will come in and man... if Abby's in and they don't score at least 6 goals, I'll be shocked. If this team loses tonight, expect the pain to become worse over the final stretch when teams playing for something will go to town on a beleaguered excuse for a club. Yes, it can get worse unfortunately!

Why is our 4th line constantly out there against their top 6? It's clear they can't handle the assignment, they are getting walked on...

Steve's on the bench, not sure if he'll play, but he's there.

I'd say it's a bigger blow to the Islanders, who ARE in the playoffs, than us.

Begin's back.

The Isles are pressing hard, I think they fele more vulnerable... although those were nice saves.

Higgins and Kosty with a warm welcome for Dunham, and now a Powerplay! Shoot from anywhere, let him know he's in for a rough night.

RDS can't even find the penalty...it was in front of the net....not in the center zone.
What a bunch of incompetents.
