Its like, these kids can make lang expendable in the offseaon, so you would think right? good minutes, pts on the board... right..
yet, hudlers best chances lately are with lang and calder
DOH..
Kenny boy, keep this core intact! at all costs...
Good points...I like seeing the kids get important minutes and perform well. They're showing they deserve more than just a fourth line role with the team. Babs is going to have to make some tough choices when everyone is healthy...who does he scratch? What are his lines? It's a great problem to have though.
Great game for the kids, they've really stepped it up lately.
Calder is starting to become one of my favorite players, kudos to Kenny for a great trade.
Ozzie played great when he had to, especially when the pressure was on.
Usually I don't wish harm on other players, and want to see them healthy, but if Jordin Tootoo were to be hit by a bus tomorrow, that would be cool too.
Overall, a good game to build some momentum on, and get to see what some of our other players can do.
Tomas Holmstrom has looked terrible since returning ...
Hudler and Filppula and Calder have been very good
Agree and agree. Hudler and Flip look terrific right now. Homer was so hot for so long that some kind of slump had to be expected, but he was pretty invisible tonight.

A little harsh but I catch your drift...he's not out there to make friends with opposition. I wish Booter would've had a real go with him when he ended up falling on his butt.
I thought Kronwall was really good tonight, close to 19 mins IT, +2, 2 shots and an assist. Didn't see any mistakes other than Lilja skating in front of him once when he was trying to clear.
He had 2 GLARING giveaways that both lead to good scoring chances for the Preds. He just doesnt look confident at all, and he said in an interview this week that the mask really takes away from his vision.

I don't recall, what has he done since Hank went out of the lineup?

Did Booter see his career flash before his eyes when Tootoo embarrassed him like that?
Jeez.
Hmmm?
Instead of asking a stupid question like that, how about you tell me why you think I might have been listening instead of watching?
Because Booter came in on him, dropped his glove, got his ungloved hand on TooToo's jersey, then he got punked.
Bootland did a chicken**** move like most guys who play like him did, he antagonized Tootoo, started whacking him then faked to drop his gloves to draw a penalty. He wasn't even looking for a fight at that moment.
Nice win by the guys tonight, and not giving the Preds any points is even better. Be even better to see a repeat performance tomorrow night, and not give them any points at all in these games.
Tootoo is a little *****. He goes running people all night, went flying into the boards trying to hit Schneider, and then doesn't like when someone hits him back. I hope Booters beats the hell out of him tomorrow night, as long as Tootoo actually squares up with him first. Booters didn't have time to drop both gloves, Tootoo was too much of a ***** to let him get set before throwing punches. I hope someone rails him in the game tomorrow night.
Ozzie was great, especially when it was 3-2. Nice stop on Kariya too, looked kinda like Dom when he stacked his pads.
Bootland whacked Tootoo on the shin as he skated by. Clearly an invitation to drop the gloves when it comes from a player like Bootland.
But then when Tootoo actually DID drop the gloves, Bootland seemed like he was taken completely by surprise and got pummeled with 3 good shots to the head.
