Nope, just know he he's been out since about the 15:00 mark of the second. Fox Sports Detroit mentioned that he is out but they haven't given any updates.

MAN, I wish I were able to watch these games. It seems like the Wings are playing VERY well, despite an injury depleated line-up. I went to a GR game last season, and I was impressed with Hudler's play. I am glad he is getting the ice time now and showing he deserves it! He plays with quite a bit of intensity for a little guy, he will be around the net and get scrappy. I am glad he wasn't an add-on to a deadline trade, hopefully he'll stick on a top line. It seems he and Lang play well together.

Dumont gives Cheli and two-hand chop on the wrist and no penalty. The officiating is just brutal.

Great job by the Hudlum with two goals. Really sounds like he's taking advantage of his increased ice time, working hard, and earning his spot.

Wow, even with injuries to the Preds (hey, we have more than our share, too), two back to back wins against Nashville is good and feels really satisfying.

From what I've listened to the past few games, Ellis has sounded like he's been doing well in his role. In the past, I think the big knock on him was speed and that he couldn't make it in the NHL. What are thoughts about him earning a regular spot on the fourth line (cheaper alternative to Sammy or Maltby)?

These past 2 games have really given me a boost in confidence for this Wings team. The Predators did their best to physically man-handle the Wings in both of these games, and the Wings didnt back down an inch. Datsyuk really played with an edge tonight, especially that nice hit on Hordichuck, or whatever his name is. Tootoo did his job in these games, but the bad news for the Preds was that he was their best player. When Jordin Tootoo is your best player, you have some issues.

Hasek and Hudler were fantastic tonight. I cant believe Babcock had Hudler on the ice with less than 2 minutes to go in a one goal game. Thats a pretty amazing event when you consider how little faith Babs has had in him all season long.

Great 2 games for the Wings. These were tight checking playoff style games and the Wings looked completely comfortable playing that style.

Lets hope they keep building on it.

The refs let stuff go each way. They either call everything or nearly pocket their whistles. I'm fine if they're consistant and they seemed pretty consistant tonight.

Hudler does continue to shine. He is scrappy. He does go to the front of the net. more importantly, he knows how to find space. It's something constantly talked about Hull, Shanny, Sakic, etc., players able to just sort of disapear out there and suddenly re-appear with the puck for a scoring chance. Hudler just has that knack for finding the empty space.

If the wings can continue to play well, get healthy, and catch a break or two, they could go very deep.

I hate Tootoo but he has been effective, drawing two penalties.
How exactly is Booters "brutal"? He drew a penalty last night when Tootoo dropped his gloves and started punching him, and then tonight he wanted to fight Tootoo, but the little ***** just skated away. The refs gave Booters a penalty for what exactly? Grabbing ahold of Tootoo's jersey? Give me a break. Booters shouldn't have gotten a penalty, unless he would have dropped his gloves and started pounding on the little *****.
