Yesterday Nolan was playing on a line with Antropov and Poni. Stajan was playing on the 4th line with Fitzy and someone else obviously but I forget who. This could easily change today before the game and I would assume it would unless this is Poni's final chance/game before they take a chance in sending him down and calling Druken back up.
I heard that Ponikarovsky is practicing with Nolan and Antropov so I don't think Stajan will be on that line.
it is interesting, Quinn seems to be trying to get Ponikarovsky going. It is almost like, "OK Alexei, here is your chance to be a permanent NHLer, now, go!"
Putting him on a line with his best friend and the red hot Owen Nolan - I have to admit, I really like Pat Quinn.

I'm kind of wondering if this is the Leafs giving Poni a chance to put up offence before they start considering sending him down to St. John's.
I do like Poni but he has to start putting up more points. And he has to stop taking so many stupid penalties. He's one of the worst on the team for that.
I agree it's a good move by Quinn to put him on a line with guys that can actually score.
The only thing is I don't really like playing Poni with Antropov. They are good friends but when they play together, it seems like Antropov goes out of his way to set up Poni for a goal- even when it isn't the best play.
Here's my Pierre Macguire impression:
"Look for Toronto to give up the first goal. Usually these teams play an up tempo offensive style, and Tampa usually catches the Leafs napping at some point. So I'll say Tampa gets the first goal, but after that it's all Toronto. Owen Nolan's back in the lineup, he's a big time physical presence out there! Gary Roberts as well, these guys are big time forcheckers! The Tampa defence is gonna be in for a world o' hurt tonight with these two monsters! Also, Ed Belfour in net is going strong, he's gonna keep up his fantastic play. The Tampa forwards have their work cut out for them tonight!"

Now if only the game was on TSN and not SNet lol
I could almost see his beedy little head bobbing as i read it....
That line of Roberts - Sundin - Renberg is on fire.
They said on the broadcast that Sundin now has 12pts in his last 8 games? That's amazing. And Gary Roberts is 2nd on the team in goals at the moment. Even Renberg has been chipping in lately with a couple goals. That line has now scored the last 5 Leaf goals.
From the way things are looking it may be a nice idea to try keeping this line together even after Mogilny returns.
