Did he ever have a ton of shots tonight, and regardless if people think they are wasted shots from distance or percentage of goals scored from those areas they still where chances, good for him.

This kid should have made this team out of tranining camp, hes paid his dues in the minors.

I want to see Andrei use his slap shot though. We hear he can hit 100mph with it. Another great game though.

Yeah. And Grabovski should have stayed back in January.

Did anyone else see at the end of the game when Kosty went to shake Glen Hanlon's hand (was coach for Belarus at the WC)? That was a great moment. Says a lot about Andrei.

Higgins-Plecky-Kost is by far 06-2007 best habs 2nd line. Kost is the Jalapeno on this line.(Provide the spice!)

He has atleast a point in hist last 4 games and has now 10 points in 12 games since being called up (you can correct me)? That's interesting...

I disagree, the rest of this year and half of next in the AHL imo for Grabovski would help him.

That's what I meant by a soccer-like dummy, which involves not touching the ball.

It's too bad he won't be able to extend his point streak long enough to beat Paul Stastny's record...

I think The Kid line will be the one to watch in the playoffs. The opposing team will be focusing a lot on Koivu and Kovalev as they are both monsters come the extra season (no way Kovalev plays with Lapierre and Begin) and seem to have great chemistry. Plekanec was the best player when Koivu went down last year, and he played with Zednik (although a playoff player, he does not have the skill Andrei does), and Perezhogin, a rookie. As long as they utilize their speed and creativity they will cause headaches.

This team is playing more disciplined and they also let things slide sometimes in the playoffs, which can be beneficial. With the #1 PP, this will be a scary team.

He has a 4-5 games point streak I think? 1+8, and most of his assists are primary if I'm not mistaken, pretty impressive!
