Kipper gets the SO!

Just a note from here in SJ:
Congrats to Kiprusoff on his first shutout as a member of the Flames. Some of us here in SJ still love him, and hope he does well wherever he is. Keep it up, Kipper!

Those are great stats but a real test will be the upcoming games against Colorado, Philly and Boston.

Imagine what his numbers would look like, if we factored out the Colorado game!

I was surprised at his play after taking that shot square on the mask. It looked like he was shaken up, but he came right back and made some big saves.
I don't even cringe anymore when there's a good scoring opportunity!

I sort of doubt it, the Flames can't do that and hope to win. The Flames need to play their game to win. Hopefully Kipper will do his part unlike the first Colorado game.

Looks like he did, and pulled a tie. As Crazed said, some of us love Kip. He is the real deal. If Calgary keeps the Shots against reasonable, he'll give you a chance to win on most nights.

So, what is going to happen when Turek comes back?

I'd assume Sutter will continue to do what he's done so far this season which is go with the hot hand. If Kipper outperforms Turek then I'd imagine Kipper will play. So Turek and Kipper will probably decide who will get the most playing time by their on ice performances.
