Sad thing is I thought this was a direct quote from a GDT.

We're down to Tainment Center....

Crap, there goes free Bible night and changing the name of the Predators temporarily to Angels night when the Devils come to town.

Ugh, can you believe they put Modano's name in that dull black facing, rather than the diamond-studded, highly-luminous script that a real American hero like MiMo deserves? Ugh, NO CLASS, contract this pitiful franchise.

Thank God they finally got rid of the Gaylord. Didn't someone think for two seconds that maybe - just maybe - that company name wasn't the best one to put on an arena? If not, I fear that the ownership of the building will soon be selling the naming rights to Ex-Lax or Viagra, or worse. I wonder if the Federal Association of Rotund Teamsters is interested...

If someone offered me 80 million bucks, I'd change my name to Gaylord Q Peniskiss.

Money talks, and Gaylord Entertainment has(had) deep pockets in the Nashville area.

guess the classless folks in nashville can get over the bevis and bu++head level of humor that some find in the name of gaylord. maybe that is because nashville has a rather large, shall we say, alternative lifestyles population. or maybe it is because we haven't cornered the market on redneck fans. another possibility is that people just like taking shots at the franshise.

Well, I've heard here are some possible sponsors and their new arena names:

the git-er-done dome
marlboro dome
preparation-h arserena
the skoal tobaccy barn
the goo-goo palace
the cracker barrel
the faygo fangdome
the dolly parton jugdome
summer's eve pond
the watson's girl waterin' hole
the achey breaky arena
the slim jim shack

Honestly who actually laughs at Gaylord? When I imagine people laughing at it they're either 13 or something else I won't say.

Pretty much every GDT on these boards where Nashville is winning at home has at least one "gaylord.. OMG!11" comment.
