I'm not sure. He'll only be available for the 2008 draft in NA because he's a late 1989 birthday. I assume there might be some type of age restrictions to enter the RSL.

The Belarus Canadiens.
Oh, no! ))
In this case the team Belarus in the all next WC will play without most talented players, because in the same time this guys in the ranks of the Canadiens will win the Stanley Cup

You might want to update Mikhail Stefanovich's stats in your Wikipedia page, Kernkraft.

From Hockey.by:
http://www.hockey.by/exsite2/heart/e...series_id=7398

Regular season:
41 GP, 16G + 9A, 25Pts, -4, 43 PIMs, 9PPG, 1GWG, 4 Player-of-the-game awards.

Playoffs (his club lost in the first round, 2-3):
5 GP, 1G + 1A, 2Pts, -2, 2 PIMs

Also, perhaps somebody with power will move this Mikhail Stefanovich discussion into separate thread?

This site has him listed at 6'2 202 is that correct?

Done, thank you for the information. However, eurohockey says that Mikhail played 14 games but you say 41...is there a typo somewhere?

I was impressed with Stefanovich netting 16 goals in 14 games but 41 isn't the same...you know what I mean

16 goalis in 41 is impressive. Siarhei Kostitsyn had 4 goals in 40 with HK Gomel at the same age as Stefanovich, although I don't know anything about either team they played for and Ive never seen an EEHL game. S. Kostitsyn did have 2 goals in 4 playoff games though.

Yeah but 16 goals in 14 games would have been REALLY impressive.

Correct, according to these 2 sites as well:

http://www.hockey.by/BLRU2018.html
http://www.iihf.com/Hydra/Tournament...BLR_33_3_0.pdf

He is listed at 6'1 184 at his club's site, but I guess that was at the beginning of the season and he grew/bulked up since.

Triple-checked that. It's still impressive though.

He is 17 year old playing against men and producing. Level of competition isn't great but it isn't too shabby either. There are lots of guys who play for Team Belarus at World Championships.

Update on Mikhail Stefanovich

Hey guys, just wanted to share my joy with you and give you an update on Mikhail Stefanovich in the process
Under-18 WJC has just completed in Division 1. Team Belarus won all 5 games to get promotion to major league next year!

Mikhail Stefanovich was one of the top performers for Team Belarus and was named as the tourney's best forward.
Here is his stats line:
5 games, 9 goals (1st overall), 3 assists, 12 points (1st overall), 16 PIMs (4th overall), +4.

All the stats are here:
http://www.iihf.com/Hydra/Tournament...jsp@compId=107

P.S. Stefanovich is listed as 6'2, 203 in Team Belarus roster so I guess he has gained one more pound

P.P.S. Kernkraft, please update your wikipedia page.

u know what sucks about this... because of Kost brothers and Grabovsky, Mikhail Stefanovich is going to be heavily scouted

1-]«Feinte favorite, imiter Saku, but, victoire, content» That's a quote from Kost after he putted the shootout winner vs the Leafs.

2- "QUAND COEUR BAT VITE, YVES CONTENT !" I don't have the slightest idea where that comes from...

I doubt anyone remembers that ad. It really had a big impression on me cuz me and my buddies kept joking about it when we were younger. It was a participaction ad on TV.

Most impressive for me besides his offensives, is his willingness to throw his body out there. When I saw his at the dev. camp, he didn't look that big, has a face of a 14th year old but man does he play hard.

But then Schremp had a really tough time adjusting to the AHL so maybe he was a product of Kosty....
