I read some comments from Barnaby saying doctors had told him that if he fights again it might be his last. Although reading some more from the Dallas site, he is saying those reports were overblown and that it was something that he would just normally review in the offseason given his age and career.
He also said that if he can't fight his game is not effective. It will be interesting to see if he drops them when he gets off IR or if he sits till the playoffs.
Stars win this one easilly 5-0 (if it's even that close)They have to stay in 5th place to insure themselves a first round buy in the playoffs.
Plus, I hear the AEG group has promised a sweet bonus to whomever knocks the Preds out in the first round, thus ensuring their summer move to Kansas City.

Barnaby needs to retire. Kid was great - but intimidation and 'jaw jacking' was a huge part of his game. For his health he needs to get out. He'll get smoked as soon as he comes back, and then it will be over. Literally.
A cute little kitty kat? I think that is what the Starts WANT to see. I wish that someone had the video of that tiger (well, close enough to a predator) 'getting at' one of the Siegfried/Roy guys. (Well, its okay, he lived after that...) THAT would be an intimidating 'what the Stars will see tonight' vid!

no too many videos of a tiger slapping the camera around. if you want something more intimidating then how about this:

Probably not a bonus but Bettman and Leipold are certainly hoping for the first round sweep by Dallas (which is gonna happen) to get the ball rolling quicker.

He's been thinking about it actually.
The past couple of his fights, he's lost his vision longer and longer. I believe it was 45 minutes in his last fight.
Gnash - Do you realize how annoying your tripe becomes after awhile? Are you a fan or a heckler?
Imagine a Blue Jackets fan who just wanted to heckle Preds fans on this board by acting like a Predator fan and pretending the sky is falling. Once you've imagined that, read all of Gnashville's posts and tell me he/she/it doesn't fit exactly what you'd expect from that undercover Jackets fan.

Go back and read all of my posts before Leipold announced pubically that he was selling 40% of the team (an open invitation to any city for the Preds) I am as loyal a fan as anyone of you but I very skeptical of the situation. Add to that the Forsberg trade which went exactually as I predicted (he's been on IR since the deal and has done very little when he has played) Both of those deals have soured me on the team. I still love the team and will defend Nashville's right to have a team until I am blue in the face. I want to win the cup but not at the expense of losing the team. I want to be wrong about Leipold but he has not given me any reason to beleive anything he says.

How is that an open invitation to any city for the Preds? And despite your highly fallible logic in equating Leipold's desire to sell a 40% share (It's not at all uncommon to have multiple investors in a franchise), that's not even the most pathetic part. It's the incessant whining. Every little thing you take and run with in your negative way. And the basis for your arguments are often incoherent and/or laughable. There's a reason that no other Predator fan on here shares your views on anywhere near the level that you do. Always keep that in mind.
You come across as nothing more than a person with an extreme agenda who twists every bit of available information to fit that extreme agenda and then whines about how the world will end because your agenda is being met. That's why it would come as no shock to many on here if you were a closet Jacket fan.*
*No offense to Jacket fans, they were just the easiest to plug into my example.
Is it true that Radulov will be playing with Forsberg tonite?
it's possible. before this latest rash of injuries the lines generally looked like this:
erat-foppa-kariya a.k.a the peter, paul and mar(t)y line
hartnell-arnott-sully
rads-leggy-dumont
hordichuk-smithson/nichol/fiddler-tootoo
so now with erat, hartnall and nichol out for a while, trotz has time to experiment.
"I'm ready to go — finally,'' Forsberg said. "It's been frustrating sitting on the bench this long, but now it's all healed up and that's all I care about.''
Forsberg, who notched six points in his first seven games following a trade from Philadelphia, spent time on a line with Paul Kariya and rookie Alexander Radulov at practice on Friday.
"He's a really good goal-scorer from what I've seen so far,'' Forsberg said of Radulov, who's scored in two straight games. "He has great hands in front of the net. I think (Coach Barry Trotz) is going to mix things up a lot, but it would be fun to play with 'Rudy.' ''
Trotz may just have been experimenting with that trio.
"With the way the lineup is set up right now, people are going to have to move around, so we thought we'd put some people together that might work and see what it looks like in practice — get a feel for it,'' Trotz said. "We'll probably do what I did on the California trip, where guys were all over the place but doing a similar role.''
