Gameday thread: Wild @ Coyotes, Dec. 15

Wild 11-14-5
Coyotes 10-10-8-1

Phoenix is 6-4-2 at home this season. Minnesota is 5-6-2 on the road. I think it'll be a close tight game with a final 2-1 score for the Wild. Goals by Dupuis and Kuba.

If Mitchell and Brandner are in, I say 4-2 Wild.
If they're out, I say 3-2 Coyotes.

No real reasoning behind that..

Well, would you look at that? 5-2. Thanks a lot, Daigle.

I guess I'll let that one go since he broke his little scoring drought with that extra-empty netter at the end.

Two bad goals for Roli in that one, I'd say. The first was just lazy, the other.. holy smokes what a rebound... it would've gone to center ice if it didn't get smacked back into the net. Not to take anything away from the Coyotes, though, they played a tough game.

I think Gaborik needs to have someone shadowing him yelling "skate!" every so often. I didn't like the looks of him much tonight at all. Nice to see Zholtok get his 100th, he looked better. But we still need more from the guys who are supposed to produce. I don't think it's fair to expect Moose and Dowd to generate half the offense.

It seems that Zholtok's 100th was taken away and given to Wiemer. Nice to see that we were in a game not only because of goaltending.

Too bad for Zholtok, but at least he got the good shot off. Hopefully it's a sign of change for the team.

I liked our PK last night, too.
