The Official Henrik Lundqvist Thread

He has too be player of the week, 2 shutouts, has not allowed a first period goal in 8 games, has the highest save percentage in the leauge since febuary, I think.
The King is doing it all!

We def. need to ride out Henriks spectaculor play. I'm loving every second he plays, however do you feel hes tired? Will the fatigue show in the playoffs? *knocks on wood*

Honestly, we have been playing such tight D lately he has not had to seen as many shots as he has had to in the past where he had become worn out & tired in the past

After tonight's game, he's 8th in the league with 2.35 GAA and also has 91.5%.

Remember when he had under 89.8% and over 3.00 GAA at the beginning of the season?

Agree. Dont think Lundqvist is tired, honestly. He can play another month or two like the last ones without a problem. This is how good he is.

The first rule of Man-crush threads is you do not ask questions about Man-crush threads.

The second rule...

He should be Player/Goalie of the Month however that shakes out.

yea if we can pretty much clinch this within the next 6 games, we can give him a rest some where in the last 3.

Does anyone know of a source with stats like the best 10 or 20 game stretches by a goalkeeper for say the last 15-20 years(entire NHL not just Rangers)? Henriks last 10 and last 20 has to be one of the best performances for a very long time. Think his last 10 GAA is like 1.33 Sick indeed

I tried to start an "MVP! MVP! MVP!" chant tonight but it was quickly drowned out by "Hen-rik! Hen-rik!"

King Henrik of the Garden

S:t Henrik can obviously walk on water.

At least when it's frozen.
