Gillies and Aliu both sound intriguing and like exactly what this team needs.

Is #3 defenseman John Blum any relation to former Bruin John Blum?

Haven't had a chance to see the Blades this year. But by the sounds of it , Gillies has a bit of a mean streak in him...few suspensions this year.
Sounds like a good fit for the b's.

He works hard is big and fast and is some what physical but has no hands. I'd pass

I wouldn't touch Aliu until the second round. He is dropping like a fly since he left his team/he was suspended from his team.

What really confuses me is the James Van Riemsdyk Thomas Vanek comparison.

What about Brandon Sutter? Or will somebody jump on him early because of the name factor.

I think he will probably be there when we pick, assuming we have the 7-8th pick.

The Bruins should be picking in the 7-10 range which should be good enough to land a decent player like Brandon Sutter.

What a **** season this was.
