Thomas Vs. Kovalev

I dont know about you guys but all this season when the Bruins met with the Canadiens, i loved watching Thomas rob Kovalev. He robbed him in every game, and in the last meeting Thomas made at least 3 big saves on him, not counting a time when Kovalev missed a wide open net. I can't wait to watch this game tonight. The atmosphere is going to be crazy with all the Montreal fans migratting down from Canada, and to watch Thomas rob Kovalev 3 more times.

i hear ya.Thomas is an outstanding goalie, and doesn't get the credit he deserves. He is a true competitor, and has been great to watch.

I do not follow the Bruins activites very closely. Thomas goals like a franchise goaltender everytime he plays against Montreal. I heard that he is not that good usually. Is that right? Anyway, the important is that he gives a good show when he goals like a god . It is frustrating for Habs fans, but it is nice to hate him .

I believe that particular play was on a shot by Steve Begin, not Kovalev.

Thomas makes some absolutely insane saves, but can be pretty inconsistent. He'll make nearly impossible saves, but most games he's good for letting in at least one softie.

I think that you're confusing Thomas with our illustrious defense. Thomas is actually a pretty good goaltender, and definitely a capable #1 goalie. He's by no means an elite goalie, but I'm never scared when it goes into a shutout, so that's gotta count for something.

I thought the Bruins have a good defense. Then, I saw your roster. I unfortunately have to agree that after Chara, and Ward as an NHL-er, your defense is under-average in the NHL. Are your prospects ready? Does Bruins have a plan in the off-season?
