Rocky Mountain - Game Preview

Quote:
• Notes: Skrastins took part in some contact drills for the first time Thursday since injuring a knee in a game Feb. 24 at Los Angeles, and it's possible he could play Sunday in Vancouver. "I'm feeling better," Skrastins said. "Finally, I feel it's moving in the right direction. The knee is getting stronger. I think I need a couple more practices to make sure." Quenneville said he thought Skrastins looked "not bad" and will wait to see how he progresses during the next two days before making a decision for the game Sunday.

Nice GDT, a couple changes I would suggest though, for Oilers injuries there is

Nedved out (for season), Hemsky out, Tjarnqvist out (for season), Staios out (for season), Hejda out (for season), Roy (questionable, not sure about him), Gilbert (might be ready), Stoll (probably for season), Moreau (probably for season), Reasoner (might be ready to go).

Also for team leaders in goals and points you have Smyth, but he isn't an Oiler anymore so it would have to be Sykora with 20 goals and I believe 50 points.

I cant' believe the Flames keep winning. You have to give them a certain amount of credit, they appear to be just as determined as the Avalanche are in making the playoffs. Let's just keep doing our best.

I'm hoping Parker dresses for this game, I wanna see him tussle with Stortini.

And this is offtopic, but related to pugilism -- did anyone see DJ King from the Blues go at it with Boogard last night? I swear, I've never noticed King on the ice in the Blues games I've watched, but I've seem him hold his own with both Parker and Boogard. That dude can hold his own.

Hey thanks, I made the changes you suggested. I got lazy at 1:00 in the morning my time, and just pulled the information from Yahoo Sports instead of researching it.

I'm not to suprised...they have been tough at home all year.

Home record: 30-7-2
Away record: 9-18-8

Their next 4 are on the road (Chi, Minny, Minny, Van) and out of their last 8, they only have 2 games at home, one is against the Avs.

Avs need to come out strong again and put the hammer down early. No reason not to plummel the Oilers again and cut the Flames lead back down to 4.

I have had a bad feeling about the Oliers games... still do...

I have a worse feeling about the Nucks games...

We really needed either Detroit or Nashville to do us a favor...
