The perfect Scenario tonight!

At 1pm the Rangers play Boston: Boston has got to be embarressed with its last three games. I can see them finally coming out to play a full 60 minutes tonight. Lets assume they get a win which is probably about 50% likely

I also dont see Phily being able to beat Islanders today, so lets assume Islanders win.

Buffalo gives Toronto another punding today by starting off strong coming.

Ottawa defeats tampa, and San Jose takes out Carolina which is also quite likely

Now if we win our game the standings will look like this

6 Tampa 86 points--- 6 games remaining
7 Montreal 84 points---6 games remaining
8 Rangers 83 points---7 games remaining
9 Long Isand 83 points---8 games remaining
10 Carolina 82 points---7 games remaining
11 Toronto 80 points ---7 games remaining

Let's just think about winning our game before anything.

Give me a Habs win and a Carolina loss and I am happy today. If that happens, we are in a playoff spot and Carolina's game in hand is meaningless because we would have 2 more wins. Anything else is gravy.

Interestingly enough, the Habs will know the results of most of the other real important games before they play this evening.

I think it's a positive thing that NYR and NYI play at 1pm because the Habs will have more passion when they will see if these teams have won or not. They'll know what kind of game they have to play. Sure, you'll tell that whether these teams play tonight or this afternoon it's absolutely change nothing at the habs gameplan. But I think Habs will be more ready.

I hate when we play washington in the end of the season.. it seems they always help the teams in the playoff race by winning almost all their games

lets keep our fingers crossed.

But we have to think realistically, I doubt it will go our way 100% tonight.

I think your scenario will go as planned, save the Rangers picking up the win. They're pretty hot right now, I don't see Boston doing us any favors there.

That said, I expect them to win, so anything other than a win is gravy. It's the upsets I worry about. Let's hope San Jose, Ottawa and Buffalo do their jobs.

I expect to get no help tonight. Except for maybe Buffalo winning again. Leafs confidence must just be shot. Other than that, I can every wrong team winning today.

Things are looking good on the scoreboard for the Habs this afternoon.

3-2 Philly and 1-0 Bruins. Hopefully, this would last for the next hour or so.

I never thought I would be going for the Bruins in any hockey game.

The isles just scored 3-3

reminds of us against boston the other night, we were down but we were mad outplaying the booooooooings, and the Isles are making philly look terrible regardless of the 3-3 score
