Three in, three out

Despite last night's debacle, the Rangers still control their destiny. Which teams will qualify and which will not. Here are my guesses. Teams which qualify are the Rangers, Leafs and Canadians. Teams which miss are Isles, Huricane, and Tampa.Comments?

Lecavalier, St Louis and Richards and Tampa miss the playoffs?

I think they make it. I know they are a one line team with ****** goaltending, but I see Tampa making it on Vinnys and St Louis performance at crunch time

Rangers, Tampa, Toronto.

Toronto vs Sabres in round one will be sick

I don't care who else makes it, as long as the Rangers get in, and winning their next 3 games would go a long way into keeping then in. One still has to question why they seem to play slow and lazy some nights, and let a hungry team like the Canadiens stick it to them, when they had 2 points last night.

Rangers need to beat Philly away and MTL and Toronto at home...They don't, they don't deserve the POs..But I think they get in...

Along with ATL, TB and Carolina....TOR, MTL and the ISles will be looking in from the outside...

Basically how I see it. Montreal and Toronto both have a shot still but TB, the Rangers and Carolina have their own fate in their own hands. IMO Tampa has the easiest schedule left and the Islanders the toughest and without DiPietro I see them flopping here. You never know though.

I'm going with the Rangers (if they play like they have up until last night), TB and Montreal.

I think Toronto is playing well right now and wouldn't be surprised if they catch Tampa Bay or Montreal. There one negative is the amount of wins they have which is the first tiebreaker (NYR 39, TB 41, Mon 40, Car 38, Tor 37, NYI 36).

Like I said in a previous post, Rangers, just win, baby! They need W's.

I agree, Rangers and Habs are playing the best right now. Toronto or Tampa for that last spot there. On another note, how bad is it going to be for the Isles if they miss the playoffs and then don't resign Smyth? Three first round picks for a rental that got you no where.

ye, well it looks like its going in that direction

DP seems to be out for some time

Zednick is out indefinitely... wouldn't they want that 2nd rd pick back now ?

.....
For the rangers tho, this past month has been stressful, especially for me. I just want them to clinch a spot already. It's been brutal
