sheesh.

Iginla. 3 - 0.

Edit:

I wonder if Luongo will get pulled? That's the only intrigue left in this game.

Canucks PP. Rondo 2. Or 3. Whatever the count is.

Edit: 6th PP, apparently. Rondo 5.

Edit: PP killed.

Stuart just threw that POS Cooke down to the ice, threw off his gloves and landed two big punches to his head while he was laying on the ice, but he doesn't get a penalty? I don't mind Cooke getting beat up, but how is that legal?

What do you know. Refs call a penalty against the Nucks after they start to pick it up and get some chances.

I don't actually think there's some kind of conspiracy here, but if there was it would look exactly like this. Every team comes out with a piss poor effort against the Flames, and the officiating seems to favor Calgary. Go figure.

It seems as if the Avs just can't catch an *** break.

It's obvisouly the Avs fault for putting themselves in this postition, but I mean come on. Calgary wins 6 straight against Detroit, Nashville, Chicago, two against Minny, and one against Vancouver? Who saw that coming?

Another Canucks power play.

I'm just hoping Vancouver can somehow find a way to limit the Flames to one point tonight still. Oh well.

Edit: PP killed.

Flames are really skating tonight. Vancouver looks dead on its feet in comparison.

Hamrlik's an idiot. That's a textbook example of closing your hand on the puck, and he costs his team an extra minor by yelling at the ref. Vancouver better do something on this PP.

The Avs put themselves in this hole but they've really made it interesting down the stretch. The NW is the toughest division in the league. Think about it: The only teams that have taken points away from the Avs in the past month were NW rivals. No one else could beat them and/or hold them to only 1 point.

I think in the end there will be at least 1 team in the East that makes the playoffs with less points than the Avs will finish with.

What is wrong with the Flames??
2 weeks ago I thought it was more likely than not the the Avs would make the playoffs, with the way the Flames were playing. But now it seems like they cant lose. And on the road even.

If CBC shows that damn Avri Lavigne commercial one more time I think I'm gonna puke.

"Hey hey, you you"

"I don't like your girlfriend"

"No way, no way"

"I think you need a new one"

"Hey hey, you you"

"I could be your girlfriend"

What a brilliant songwriter that Avril is.

Yeah, what a waste of airtime.

Flames PK starting strong. This is sad.

Edit: 2 shots in 4 minutes of PP; PP over.

Either way, anybody think that Boods should be number one next year? He holds on when it matters.. unlike some other young goaltender in the league that folds under pressure ( Tim Thomas come to mind).

I agree. Either keep the Budaj/Theo tandem or bring in a cheap vet to back him up.

Someone of Belfour's caliber...or CuJo, etc.

Morrison scored, by the way. 3-1.

Edit: Little more than half the period left.

Theo will be great, on some other non playoff team. Do you think they will keep Coach Q? The team finally play within his system, too bad it's the case of too little too late.

Lombardi for tripping. Eight minutes+ to go, 3-1 Flames. Canucks looking fired up, though a little too late.

Theo is a good back-up. Overpaid, yes, but good. They'll keep Q around. One more season, to see what he can do. Avs have exceeded expectations this season. Key injury in Leopold... Weak (relatively) defensive talent, so he deserves another shot.

Edit: Penalty over.

Another penalty with little over five left. Still 3-1.

Canucks get another shot to cut it to 3-2 at least.
