Will Clouts Start Beefore Regular Season Ends?

Read somewhere last week that Clouts was aiming to start before the end of this regular season. Any updates?

Finally! Something positive that DAN can do to help this club! Play him so that he can lock down a higher pick for us! GO DAN!!

The way Burke has played the last dozen games he's been in there, I don't think we need Cloutier to do anything that Burke can't do... If anything, Cloutier might actually come up big... and really piss us off further.

Burke has still gotten the Kings a bunch of points, though. His 3.00 GAA in the last dozen games still beats Cloutier's 4.00 by a long shot. Also, in Burke's defense, he's done respectably well with Norstrom, Blake and Visnovsky out, not to mention Modry in. Imagine Cloutier under the same circumstances; it's frightening (or delightful, depending on how high you want your draft pick).

I'd rather get this Cloutier thing over with now. He doesn't play in game action this year, he will make the team to start next season.

I still have awful memories of that Phoenix game, so I want to get it over with while I don't care. At the start of next year, I will care much more.

Is there any chance Garon will play the final 2 games against Phoenix?

There's a chance, but Burke will surely get the next game. Then, because Phoenix is so awful, the Kings may very well win, and Burke may be rewarded with the 2nd game, as well. Garon may've just played his final game for the Kings.

The Canucks color commentator talked to Cloutier today before the game and from what I concluded he's looking towards next season.

Oh, I can hardly contain myself.

I find that my happy thoughts....dwindle, with the thought of Dan Cloutier.
