No I don't think it will. Maybe if you have center ice. But even if you do it will only be on American teams.

We have russian sattelite NTV available here, but i'd hate to subscribe just to watch hockey for two weeks once a year.

I remember watching from the IIHF (or whatever it's called) website the other year and it was pretty good quality.

Any word on whether Cole, Tanabe, Larose, and Gleason have been considered/named to the U.S. team?

We haven't gotten any word on them yet. I'm not sure if USA has sent out any formal invites yet. Canada usually jumps out of the gates quick with the invites.

It’ll be a great experience. (Chad) LaRose and (Erik) Cole and Grahame will be on the U.S. team. I have not got the list yet, but I know that (Dennis) Seidenberg was asked to go, but I don’t know if he’s going. If all our guys go that were asked, it will be at least half our team, which is not any consolation for not being in the playoffs, but it’s a great experience for all our players.
Very surprised to see LaRose there, but this should be great for him.

Jim Rutherford mentioned in his press conference that Chad LaRose, Erik Cole, and John Grahame would play for Team U.S.A. He also said that if everyone on the team that has been offered a spot accepts, over half the team will be involved in the tournament.

Darn you Sam!

That's how we Canuck Bandwagoners roll.

Atleast this tournament will make the offseason a little shorter, get to see most of the guys in action. Canada vs. U.S.A. should be fun with Cole vs. Staal and possibly Grahame vs. Ward.

I'm actually somewhat surprised Tanabe isn't going. Gleason isn't because I assume is he's gonna have that finger problem. Hedican likely would have gone if he was healthy too. I'm guessing Lavi is going to be the coach with Tortorella and Ron Wilson in the playoffs, as well as the fact that Lavi was at the olympics. I wonder if Maurice is going to coach Canada again?

With DiPietro and Miller in the playoffs and Esche sucking, I guess Grahame starting wouldn't be a surprise. Conklin certainly won't be.

And wow, I just noticed how few European players they have on this team. It's possible they could enter next season with Wallin and Kaberle as the only Euros (Craig Adams doesn't count).

Alvaro Montoya? lol I agree that Commodore is gaining respect. Very nice guy to have on a team, will do anything to win. Also Petrecki has a good shot and the whole package, but i heard he isnt to keane upstairs.

Denny Seidenberg (Germany) is signed through next year, unless you're expecting we'll trade him (which wouldn't shock me either)

Oh, I thought Seidenberg was a free agent. Ok, make that 3 then. But yes, he could be traded. All of the Euros are on defense too.

And yes, I guess Montoya could go. The USA goalie scene doesn't look that much worse than Canada's of Cam and Roloson though.

Ah, ok. Makes sense to give another coach a shot. And I guess Lavi hasn't done much since that miracle run awhile ago, but he hasn't had the players recently either. Boy that sounds familiar.

Well, I just hope no one gets hurt. Roloson will be battleing Ward for the #1 job. Haven't seen Rolie that much tihs year. Will he take it away from Ward? It would surprise me but still.
