Begin to have surgery

Haven't seen anyone mention it but before and after CJ's post game news conference they talked about Begin going for exploratory surgery on his right shoulder(tomorrow I guess).

edit: it hasn't hit the websites yet.

Hopefully the problem can finally be fixed.

They said recovery was estimated at 2-3 months. Source: Michel Villeneuve, 110% - Dec. 17

Don't worry too much though, I did cite 110% as my source!

Sad news in Habland. Hopefully the exploratory surgery will turn up something minor only. Only Koivu is more inspirational on this team than Begin! I still can't believe we picked him up on waivers.

How can he come up with an estimate for down time when they don't even know what's wrong?

He's just getting his shoulder scoped to see what's wrong. Hopefully nothing major and he'll be back soon.

He claimed to have some "inside info"!

That's almost as laughable as Pierre Rinfret's Koivu for Peca "inside scoop"!

But anyway, HabsWorld claimed it was some kind of nerve damage in his shoulder and they also said 2-3 months.

That's too bad. Here's hoping that Ward can bring back some of Begin's energy when he returns to the lineup.
