does Orr dress in this game???? maybe for Ortmeyer or Hollweg. Avery vs Ruutu should be fun to watch.

If I'm not mistaken, a Tampa Bay loss in regulation or OT gives us the 6th spot, or if we lose in OT or win we get 6th. Only way we don't get 6th is if the Rangers lose in regulation and Tampa Bay wins.

Lets go Rangers!!!!

Get a point and we're in 6th or if TB loses. That would mean Atlanta. If we lose and TB wins we're 7th and play New Jersey. I'd like to play the Devils again but you have to go for the win today. I think we could beat either in a playoff series.

I would love nothing more to beat the Devils, which I think is a good possibility, but I just don't want to play them. They bore me to no end. Sure it works for them, but I just can't stand their style of play. An Atlanta-Rangers series would be SO exciting.

After Tampa's loss yesterday, we only need 1 point to secure the 6th spot by our own machine.

What a night it's going to be tonight. The Rangers have been playing great hockey and I would've never thought after they lost to Columbus after blowing a 2-0 lead at the Garden that they'd be in this position tonight. They've really come a long way. In the past some of hockey's critics have complained about the schedule being too long and about a lack of parody since "everyone makes the playoffs". I beg to differ. This is going to be a great weekend for hockey fans especially local hockey fans. Tonight, of course will determine whether the Rangers play Atlanta or New Jersey and the Islanders will play at 1:00 needing a Toronto win tonight to prolong their hopes. It'll be very interesting if things go the Islanders' way and tommorow they have to face New Jersey with a playoff spot on the line.

LETS GO RANGERS!!! Avoid NJ in the first round tonight!!

Let's Go Rangers!

(And Thrashers)

After seeing the Thrashers defeat the Canes last night on the Online Comcast feature, I actually think that Atlanta has one of the best goaltending duos in Lehtonen and Hedberg. If they keep up their good play, I could see them becoming 07's version of the '02 Hurricanes- whenever one goalie faltered, Paul Maurice would simply switch the goalie for the next game and stick with him for the remainder of the series.

This is going to be a great series: Blueland against the Blueshirts

Yes, and the Sens are playing Boston, so if home ice means anything to the Penguins, they'll play for the win.

The fact that the Sens are playing Boston might actually be an advantage for the Rangers. I am pretty sure Ottawa will get up on them rather quickly, and if the Pens are watching the scoreboard it's feasible to see them let up a little bit if that happens.

It just sucks that Atlanta wrapped things up in the SE last night. I can't see them giving their best effort against Tampa tonight.

None of this really matters in the end though because the Rangers WILL beat the Penguins! Let's Go Rangers!!!!

Yes....we only need one point tonight thanks to Florida destroying Tampa Bay last night. Let's lock up that 6th seed! Which amazingly enough will put us in better seeding than we were last year...who would have thought.
