Witt better thank the gods Dubie won the shootout for him. First he shanks a clear then bumps Dubie in the crease accidentally after the devils recover the puck. Devils score with .08 seconds left.

Exactly how I feel about the East. Definitely rooting for Ottawa.

In the west, I'll root for Nashville (I live in TN anyway) and whoever is playing Detroit. So that means Calgary to start...

I'm rooting for anyone who's playing the Pens or Rangers. That being said, I was disappointed the Leafs / Sabres didn't happen. Coulda been a high tension series between two geographic rivals. Also, I was really hoping for a last minute miracle for the Avs. An opening round between the Avs and Wings would have been something to really enjoy. Other than that there''s some exciting possibilities for great hockey with fresh faces like the Preds, Wild, Thrashers, and Islanders, all of whom are really great to watch. Over all I like the Sharks, but like someone else said, I haven't learned to hate any of the Caps rivals in the SE yet, so the Bolts are my team until further notice.

dislike calgary too.

going for dallas or ottowa, though they were my picks last year and it didnt turn out well.

also pulling for islanders and thrashers.

also dont mind watching the pens too much, should be exciting to see how far they go.

Uh... that's kind of messed up, man. No disrespect intended, it's just the opposite from what one would expect. Hate the Pens, have a sort of love/hate relationship with Buffalo. I'd love to see them go all the way and win their first Cup. I'd hate to see them go all the way and have Danny Briere drink from the Cup. Whatever happens with them, I'll be satisfied, unless they lose to the Rags or Pens.

It would be the funniest thing ever if Briere got suspended for the spear and Buffalo went on to lose the series... you'd never, ever, ever, ever hear the end of it. It'd be like 1999 all over again.

Like the Sabres, hate Briere. Likewise, I like Malkin and hate the Pens.

I'm rooting for first round upsets and a Marc-Andre Fleury meltdown of epic proportions

Another Datsyuk choke job would also be entertaining.

I'd also like to see Thornton and Turco shake the monkey off their backs. I think Thornton's going to have a great playoffs.

Don't expect any miracles from Turco. I watched the stars' last three games, and he's already in playoff mode.

I was VERY disappointed that the Isles made it in over the Leafs. A Tor-Buf matchup would've been incredible.

Especially since Slugs have problems with Canadian teams.
