Let's end this season strong. Put Theo in net--he's unlikely to be back and while he has an overly large contract, I have nothing against him personally as an individual. It'd be nice for him to cap off a win. Win tonight regardless of how little the Flames care. If not, Budaj in net is always a good thing.

Let's avoid any injuries tonight, stay healthy and show effort throughout.

Go Avs! Go Budaj! Go Theo!

i know its not the best source but they are 94.9% of the time right...
Year-to-date: 2325 / 2450 = 94.9%
i guess today was a bad day lol

I agree with playing Turgeon. This is likely it for him. Let him have one more game.

Turgeon can't play, he's still on IR.

After a finish to the season like this, nothing should haunt the Avs at all. This is what late season hockey is all about, and the Avs should be proud.

Yeah...better rest up Friesen...he'll be a factor.

They've lost three in a row already while trying to clinch the final playoff spot. The Sharks loss was my favourite ;-)

I wouldn't be opposed to Avs blowing out the Flames tonight either ;-)

Who's going to the game? I figure it's going to be a little dead, due to having no implications, but it is the last game of the season, and for some of us, the last live hockey for the season.

I think a stop at Brooklyns before and after the game is in order.

I'll be wearing my Aebischer 3rd jersey, if you are going. It's hard to miss, it's a little unique.

Go

stupendous investigative work.
No Luongo, no Brodeur. But hey, at least you got Turco right. 1 out of 3 ain't bad.

My bad. I got the impression both he and Brisebois were eligible to play from earlier posts in this thread.

Sorry to see you guys won't be making the playoffs this year. The Avs are my 2nd team as it were, after the Habs and I was hoping you'd make it. Gonna have to follow some other teams I like a bit more closely.

I won't be staying up for the game tonight but I hope you close your season with something to be happy about and I'm rooting for Super Joe to hit the 100 point mark again tonight.

Best of luck next year and I hope you come back strong.

Should be a season ending presser (most likely tomorrow), with Q, Giggy and perhaps a player or two.

Hopefully Sakic gets point 100 so he will be the oldest player to get 100

it's pretty slow at the game. the mood is somber and the play is not what we have seen this season.
