Let's end this season strong. Put Theo in net--he's unlikely to be back and while he has an overly large contract, I have nothing against him personally as an individual. It'd be nice for him to cap off a win. Win tonight regardless of how little the Flames care. If not, Budaj in net is always a good thing.
Let's avoid any injuries tonight, stay healthy and show effort throughout.
If Colorado wants to blame themselves they should look back on the late game collapses against L.A. and Edmonton that led to two points in shootouts. Those should be the games that haunt them for a little while.
After a finish to the season like this, nothing should haunt the Avs at all. This is what late season hockey is all about, and the Avs should be proud.

Yeah...better rest up Friesen...he'll be a factor.
Sorry to see you guys won't be making the playoffs this year. The Avs are my 2nd team as it were, after the Habs and I was hoping you'd make it. Gonna have to follow some other teams I like a bit more closely.
I won't be staying up for the game tonight but I hope you close your season with something to be happy about and I'm rooting for Super Joe to hit the 100 point mark again tonight.
Best of luck next year and I hope you come back strong.
who's in net tonight guys? i have to hold off half a point to win my hockey pool and the guy that has the opportunity to spoil it has budaj. if theodore plays i'm in the clear, but i'm hearing conflicting reports.
theodore eh. did that come from the dressing room?
and btw guys, congrats on a great run at the end of the season. would have liked to see you get in there. too bad the preds had to spoil it. i'm a leafs fan. i feel your pain. today was sooo hard to watch. out of the playoffs in a shootout between two backups on other teams.
