Seriously, we know the players can't overlook the rest of this series or they'll lose it 4-2.

It's a good thing we're just fans, and we can think about things like this.

Best Playoff Series so far?

Not counting NYR-ATL, which of course we are all quite pleased with so far....ana-min, det-cgy have been rather one-sided. All of the other series have been extremely competitive. Personally, from an entertainment standpoint I have loved the Nashville-San Jose series. Plenty of scoring, hits and passion. Pittsburgh-Ottawa have played some really entertaining hockey but only one of the 3 games was dramatic. Vancouver-Dallas has been the most competitive, but has lacked the oh-fence, especially games 2,3. NJ-Tb has been very good as well, but there is such a lack of juice in that arena I can't compare it to the above series out west. NYI-BUF has been a big surprise as well, especially with the added Dipietro storyline, but for my money it's been san jose-nashville.

I agree with all of this and i'm pissed that Versus doesn't show Nash-SJ as the late game. Van-Dallas is a nice series but i'd prefer the Sharks/Preds.

The Icelanders have not surprised me at all, I thought that series would go at least 6 games.

PITT-OTT has been good.

I've really enjoyed VAN-DAL.

Lets go Islanders....

Never thought I'd say it, but I find myself rooting for them to win this series. Not that I expect it to happen but, it would really make the Rangers chances look a little better to have Buffalo out of the picture.

Well as far as the Isles-Sabres go I'd rather see the Islanders win just to get the Sabres off of MSG upstate where they don't belong. Apart from that they are the most dangerous team anyway so go DP!--steal the series.

i was just watching FSNY, the Isles vs. Sabres, the first period just got under way and boom they switched to the 1st intermission of the TB/NJ game..

oh well.. the Devs are losing 1-0..

oh yeah, also Stan Fischler just said, "I don't think that Ryan Miller is a great goalie. He's a good goalie who is aspiring to be great."

whaddya think?

I can't see Buffalo losing to the Isles. As long as they take a piece of the Sabres on their way out. Besides, TB's going to beat the Debbies, and we'll get Ottawa if we finish out Atlanta.

i'm starting to bandwagon the Lightning.. (at least for this series)

Holms has been playing well.. and Marty has let in 3 off of 19 shots.

Just to add. If the Islanders upset the Sabres and the Lightning upset the Devils then the Rangers would get home ice in the second round.

Man the Isles fans are showing such a lack of class right now. I can't stand when fans throw stuff on the ice. Are they trying to get someone hurt?
